We are pleased to announce the launch of Hattoon.com, a website for literary works.

We used these modules: SmartSection, Contact Us, Poll, Social Bookmarks and Protector. There are three themes available for users choice and they are: BlueShine, BubbleGum, CityReflections.

After almost three years of inactivity, the WOX (World of XOOPS) Newsletter is BACK (see here previous versions), with new editorial team, and with new topic icon by Mowaffak. Some of you are probably wondering why are we doing it. If it was dead for three years, why bringing it back to life? Well, because our users loved it. We just didn't execute it consistently - the break was not because of lack of interest, it was because we didn't deliver. So it's time to fix mistakes from the past and move forward. As we are breaking away from the past, we are evaluating what worked and what didn't, and we want to make sure that good ideas are not being lost.

So now, back to the future

XoopsEditors Compatibility Issues â€“ Fixed

For the longest time, I have been trying to understand the workings of the XoopsEditors. I am not a beginner with PHP or the workings of Xoops, but for the longest time, this issue has bugged me really bad, to the point I wanted to pull my hair out (what is left of it anyway) and I nearly gave up many times. Persistence and brute ignorance are two of my many flaws, but they have seen me through.

Anyway, back to the XoopsEditors. While in the process of revamping WF-Channel, I was asked many times to include a WYSIWYG Editor and after much thought about it I decided to go down the XoopsEditors path. So doing what most other people doâ€¦ I started to look for examples on how it works and how I could incorporate it into WF-Channel.

Eine Feuershow als Geburtstagsüberraschung. Wir waren am Samstag als Geburtstagsgeschenk und Überraschung gebucht. Es ist immer wieder schön auf einem Geburtstag auf zu treten und die überraschten Gesichter der beteiligten zu sehen die bis zum beginn der Feuershow von allem nichts wussten. Es ist dann immer wieder ein highlite für die Geburtstagsgäste wenn Sie durch unsere Show unterhalten werden. Das Wetter spielte aber diesmal nicht so ganz mit, wir traten draußen auf und als wir mit der Show begannen, begann auch der Regen. Aber das hat niemanden davon abgehalten sich die Show bis zum Schluss an zu schauen.

WF-Channel V2.02 Full Released

WF-Channel V2.02

This is a mini bug fix release. It deals with two issues that came to light after the last release and were important enough to issue this release so quickly.

1. XoopsEditor Support: WF-Channel should support XoopsEditors fully now on all versions of Xoops.
2. Xoops Search: Now fully working. Fixed a bug that would prevent multiple word searches.
3. WF-Resource Check: Added code that will check the WF-Resource version. If this check fails, WF-Channel will display the reason for the failure. This is to help users who may forget to download the resource module.
4. Fixed Packaging: I have used a different tool to package the modules. If you still run into any problems, please contact us ASAP.

We urge all WF-Channel users to update to this version.

What is WF-Channel?
WF-Channel aims to be as simple as possible, while providing a powerful tool to aid a webmaster in webpage creation. This module is not a replacement for a dedicated article management system, but more a supplement of these other tools and should be treated as such.

Where WF-Channel excels is its ease of use. Every area is well explained with helpful dialog and streamlined admin interface. Whether you just wish to put up one or two webpageâ€™s or more, WF-Channel will make things simple for you.

Whatâ€™s New in V2.02?
WF-Channel v2 has been written from the ground up, we feel more secure than any other previous versions and we aim to provide patches quickly if required. WF-Channel uses some caching techniques to help reduce strain on servers, like reducing SQL queries, PDF caching and more.

The admin area has been totally redesigned to make working easier and quicker than before. Every item within the admin area is only one click away, which means less work for you in the long run.

Many of the new features may not be apparent straight away, such as mass deletion, cloning and updating of pages and all from the main admin page. You will find this and many more changes like this within WF-Channel.

Every part of WF-Channel front-end is configurable, you choose to display which parts you want your customers to see.

10. Refer page with logs of who has referred who to your website,
11. Anti spamming techniques to stop spammers sending email via your refer pages,
12. Supports a linkable images and text for users to place on their own website,
13. Massive amount of support via WF-Project website,
14. Easily upgradeable from earlier versions,
15. And loads loads moreâ€¦..

What we are planning for future versions:

Use Tinyeditor for creating your blocks in 2.3*

To use Tinyeditor for creating custom blocks in 2.3 :

Go to root/module/system/admin/blocksadmin/

Make an backup of the blockform.php
and open it.

Then

Search for:

$textarea = new XoopsFormDhtmlTextArea(_AM_CONTENT, 'bcontent', $block['content'], 15, 70);

And replace it with:

And if you go to blocks in your administration then youl see tinyeditor in stead of the normal editor.
(This hack only works if you have installed tinyeditor!)
